I wanted to just pop on and share something

We are away from our home at the moment because our insurance company is repairing it

We went back today to check on the progress but there was something in the garden that wasn’t here before we left 😃

bless i did a competition with our new neighbours 3 little girls planted 6 sunflowers potted them all up gave them 3 and the little devils beat me overheard dawnie talking to them about it and she told them you tell micky he said the winner gets £2 cost me £6 but there smile was well worth it

Yaaaaay, good to hear from you @66Mustang that is an amazing welcome home gift from nature! I'll have to get a photo of "Son of son of son of Gigantor" I've been growing the same seeds for 4 generations now and our most recent sunflower is HUGE!

I didn't realise there were so many varieties of sunflowers! The slugs got to mine earlier this year and I've only got one left in the garden that's yet to actually flower. My neighbour has a massive sunflower that's peeking over the fence which I get to enjoy though! It's facing my garden because that's the main direction the sun comes from. Apparently they turn to follow then sun.👍
