First LCWRA payment

in Universal Credit (UC)

hi. I’m due my first lcwra payment October 11th. I put my first fit note in on may 24th with no gaps in between. Could someone work out how much the payment would be please?

    LCWRA element is £416.19/month and your maximum UC entitlement will increase by that amount.

    thank you. Would I get anything backdated as it would be 19 weeks as of the 4th October. My assessment period is the 5th of the month to the 4th of the following month

    You’re welcome. No, you are not owed any LCWRA element. This is because there’s a waiting period of 3 full assessment periods from when you provided your first fit note. It’s then paid from the 4th month, which first payment being the end of that month. Please see advice in your previous thread.

    If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn’t previously have the work allowance you will be owed some money for that.
