Advice please
Hi
I am currently receiving ESA support group and pip. I've just had a migration to UC letter. I have my first phone appointment in a week and am petrified. I have severe anxiety, severe depression, autism and?ADHD. I barely leave home and am scared beyond belief. I do not function well socially and find communicating difficult. Please help. What happens at this appointment? Will they take my ESA away?
Thank you , Sarah

Hi @haras321 - please don't worry for, as you're already in the ESA Support group, you will be transferred to UC's equivalent which is LCWRA (Limited Capability for Work & work related activity) & won't have to go through another WCA (nor provide fit notes).
You can keep claiming any Contribution based ESA, but it's deducted in full from UC (tho still useful to keep as it pays a better rate of NI credits). Any income -related ESA will continue for 2 weeks, when you'll receive a payment, then it will stop.
Your appointment is just to accept your commitments, which won't be work related, just to say you'll report any changes. If you now have access to your online journal, if you haven't done so, let them know you're in the ESA Support group. It can take a few weeks for this to be adjusted once they hear from ESA.
