New style Esa and LCWRA work allowance
Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me how the LCWRA work allowance (£673 per assesment period ) for UC will work once I am moved from SSP to New style ESA.
My wife works 12 hours per week , with a weekly take home pay of £130 after deductions, and I am receiving ssp of £116 per week.
These two are added together then the WA is taken into account and the remainder is then calculated at 55p per £1 and deducted from the UC entitlement.
Will the new styleESA amount be deducted separately £1 for £1 from UC , and then the work allowance used towards my wifes earnings, or will the ESA amount be added together with my wife's earnings and then the WA is used as it used to ?
Thanks for any help.

Hi @berry61. Yes your UC would reduce by the amount of ESA you would receive, and then the WA would just take into account your wife's earnings.
