Hi @nikkituskers and welcome to the community 😊 Colleges have a duty to provide support similar to schools for those with a disability, as long as they have an EHCP. Do you feel he'd cope if he received support? Here's some information about other routes, such as an apprenticeship or online courses Scope - Leaving School.

I would suggest contacting your local college to find out what they offer for students with disabilities which may help put your minds at ease. I hope you find something suitable.

Do you think think he'd cope better with something a bit less academic at college such as art or music?

Are there any jobs that he would like to do in future? It would depend on his conditions but something like a brick laying course is completely different to school and gives a great sense of achievement to see something built from nothing by ourselves. Or perhaps a food preparation course would be something he could use for independent living in future, even if not used to prepare for a job.
