Hi @Aymanmit912, welcome to the community.

You can contact your local council to see if you can apply for an EHCP for your son:

    Find your local council - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

They'd also be the best people to ask about whether your son would be eligible for an EHCP if he is only on a tourist visa. I'm not too sure about that myself as this is not an area I'm very familiar with, but the Local Authority will be able to advise you.

There's also a page about getting an EHCP on the Scope website. It mostly talks about getting EHCPs for children, but it may still be useful to you:

Apply for an EHCP | Disability charity Scope UK

Just so you know, I have removed your surnames from your post as we don't allow full names on the community to keep you safe 😊

Hope you can get something sorted for your son.

    Hi @Aymanmit912

    Welcome to the online community.

This is a really difficult area to I am sorry to say. Most information about people visiting the UK is for children 16 years old and under. This is because education is compulsory up to that age.

EHCPs are for people up to the age of 25 years old. But, many parents find the process frustrating, even for their children who are under 18 years old.

If you haven't already contacted you local authority as @Rosie_Scope suggested, you could try contacting https://www.ipsea.org.uk/ .

They are a charity that can provide legal information around special educational needs.

I hope that you get an answer soon and can sort something for your son.

If you are not living in the UK then you will not have a local Authority to contact. It may also not be possible to even start this process off on a student visa but I can't be 100% sure because I can't find any information.
