Effects of my mum moving in?

hi my husband is on pip enchanted for care and mobility and esa suport group iam on esa joint with husband and iam on pip standard for care and mobility and i get care allowance for looking after him i have a 90 year old mum on state pension and pension credit and attendance allowance and thinking 0f moveing her in with this effect my benfits and suport allowance esa

    Hey @Richardson44, welcome to the community 😊 Hope we can help figure out what could happen with this situation.

    First of all, your PIP awards will not be affected. Your carers allowance shouldn't be affected.

    What can be affected is any council tax reduction you currently receive if you do receive any? It is possible this may be affected, though many places will not count someone in receipt of pension credit or attendance allowance.

    I'm just going to move this over to our benefits section 🙂

    Nope it won't affect your support group ESA or ESA at all, as even if you had SDP she has AA so it will be fine @Richardson44 ❤️
