Hello to you all, we was awarded DLA for our son 8, the award was for 2 years.
We got his renwal form back in May, we filled it in and sent it back within 2 weeks, his G.P has wriiten a supporting letter stating our son is a danger to himself and to road users if he goes out of the house, due to his sensory needs he has a thing of runnimg directly into the road when trying to escape.
Anyhow we had a letter from the DWP (DLA) about 3 weeks after sending the completed form back asking for photo ID and letters to prove we live at the address? We sent that back the following day and had nothing else since.
We are just over the 12 week wait but just wondeing how many weeks are they taking currently? September 2024.
Thank you :)
