Awarded pip for first time and had dwp call but no award message
As abbreviated above I recently was awarded pip after my tribunal meeting a few weeks ago. On Tuesday morning I had the dwp call to ask me the usually hospital, abroad and prison questions, Towards the end of the call he stated I’m due back pay and a letter should be with me in 10 working days from then in regards to this and my payments.
My issue and reason for post is I still haven’t received the awarded message following this call like I see all other posts say they got on new claims and due to that I’m unsure if the backpay and letter I’m waiting on is due when I thought or if I’m waiting for the awarded message now.
Thank u for anyone who reads this and extra thanks for any help!!

Hi there @callum24 and welcome to the community.
Congratulations on winning your tribunal, that must be a huge relief for you?Regarding the back pay, it can take several weeks for them to crunch the numbers and get the letter out to you, so I'd try not to panic too much. With my backpay, it often appeared in my account before the letter arrived.
