Pip appeal confusion
Hey
I'm new here so not sure how it all works yet 🙈
Looking for PIP appeal advice, I applied in feb/March this year, given 2 points, appealed via MR, still 2 points, appealed via tribunal and dwp meant to respond by 10.9.24, no response. Received a letter stating court have asked dwp to respond in 28days as they only have my documents and nothing from them. Online tracking shows 'dwp responded' but underneath it states "DWP have responded to your Personal Independence Payment (PIP) appeal. They should have sent you a copy of their response in the post, unless their response is late and a judge has directed that the appeal can proceed without one.
You do not need to do anything. You will receive another email or text message update when your hearing has been booked. Unfortunately we cannot say how long this will be but it may be several months"
Have they responded or not? Very confused 🙈 also had a missed call from dwp a week ago but couldn't answer.

They often don't respond in time. Nothing actually happens to them though, the deadlines seem to be pretty pointless in all honesty. The missed call from DWP was likely to be offering you an award to save them going through the tribunal.
All you can do for now is keep waiting for the tribunal date.
