Hi, my name is shellb14!
due to up and coming changes could people fight to get it until the date it’s granted , make me mad how government get there allowances for this that and the other yet cut people’s money who really need it. They don’t have expensive cut ! Prime minister taking his wife over seas !! Shouldn’t be happening it’s his job not hers so money could be saved on that for sure , there money keeps going up draining government money . Stop all the expenses, they get paid enough so pay for overnight stay /food extra . Labour is worst government and people though conservatives was bad . Well who ever voted these idiots in I bet they wish they hadn’t . Total disgrace

There's no upcoming changes planning at the moment because there's been no official announcements. If changes are announced at the budget on 30th October then it will be quite sometime before they are put in place because changes will not be paid overnight. Until then everything remains as it is now.

Hi @shellb14, welcome to the community 😊
Some of the recent revelations about donations from the rich do feel very similar to what was happening under the previous government too. It's a shame that it is prolific in both parties it seems. We've not seen any changes to benefits outside of the winter fuel allowance which still has not yet passed a conference vote. I'm going to move this over to our People Power category given it's mostly about how our politicians are behaving!
