Lcwra pip universal credit
Hi. I hope someone can help me with this question please.
I currently receive pip lower amount and lcwra and universal credit .
At present I work 16 hours so the universal credit is slightly less due to earnings. If I decide to stop work. I know I still get pip but what I still get LCWRA and Universal credit. Which approx is
Lcwra 416
UC 363 plus my pip allowance.
Also if not in work how will my National Insurance be paid towards my pension.
I appreciate any help as for at temporarily until I find a more suitable job I put up with the pain and discomfort my current job is making me feel.
Thank you. Tony

Hi,
As you get LCWRA, you don't have any requirement to work. You will still get the basic UC rate plus the LCWRA element if you stop work.
UC pays the National Insurance credits needed for the state pension in future.
