PIP Review and Motobility
hi this is my first post so hopefully it’s in the right place!
I’ve been on PIP & ESA since I broke my spine in 2016 I’m a permanent electric wheelchair user due to limited mobility, which has also brought about the discovery of quite a few conditions and unavoidable diseases, chronic pain + loosing my career, home, marriage etc has also brought about at times crippling anxiety & depression.
My question is since my review October they have extended & extended over and over where I’ve now lost my grant for a vehicle I can drive however it has to be quite extensive adaptations hence the grant, however motobility need a full 3 year award, I’m at a loss because they kind of say just wait so my whole social options are stunted and my parents and extended family live 200 miles away down south so I’m alone apart from carers and I’m in supported living also?
Twice I’ve called them since Xmas and they say “nothing we can do”
Does anyone have any suggestions, tips or advice?

Yes, there's extremely long delays with review decisions and some are waiting more than a year for a decision. I'm also waiting for my decision and I returned my form at the end of November 2023. My award was extended for up to a year in June.
Are you aware that you can extend your mobility vehicle while you wait for the decision on your PIP review?
I kind of understand why Motability are asking for a full 3 year award for the grant as you need extensive adaptions. I don't have any advice for you regarding that other than to extend your current lease. Hopefully you'll have decision on the review really soon, myself included.
