Hi, my name is judyokeefe!
I am a parent of my daughter who had JME and poor mental health as a result of her JME. I am so sad to say my daughter had desperately been failed by the NHS and as a result took her own like after 6 years of being diagnosed with JME. We want justice but most of all do not what happened to our family happen to anyone else. All medical publications say JME requires a holistic mental health plan al with an epilepsy plan. I believe our families are being failed resulting in avoidable sucides. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience or has a child or young adult your worried about. We need change to save them.
Sincere and heartfelt message. Judy
