    My favourite saying was actually frequently used by a Dutch woman I used to work with (apparently it's quite a common Dutch saying?)

    "Don't go to the toilet with an empty bum". 😃

    Another of my favourite sayings - which isn't really a saying but I think is so useful - is one of those 'Confucius he say..' jokes:

    "Confucius he say: can of worms never known to open by itself."

    This both makes me laugh, but also has stopped me doing some pretty stupid things over the years!

    One of my favorite says my dad used to say to me when I was an Apprentice and was checking drilled holes for burr's " Never put your finger where you wouldn't put your willy.

    He didn't mean it in any sexual way, but I always remember him saying why did you cut your finger? Would you really put your bits in there, then listen to what I say?
