Hello, I am partial epileptic. I contracted meningitis when I was 6 months old. I used to get seizures at night. I was diagnosed when I was 16 years old. I have been taking medication since that age. I would like to know if there is anyone to help with grass and hedge cutting. I have been put on US from ESA. I used to receive disability benefits. I receive PIP. I am struggling with money. I am 60 years of age. [Removed by moderator - personal information].

    Hi @Ranjeet and welcome!

You could try contacting your local council and also reaching out to charities like Age UK and the Royal Voluntary Service for more tailored assistance.

I also wanted to let you know that I've moved your discussion to an area of the community where it might be seen by people who can suggest some options and I've removed your email address from your post as we don't allow the sharing of personal information here, to protect all our members.

    Hi Ranjeet,

I’m still fairly new here but I noticed this post and wanted to add. In addition to what @Adrian said, have you tried local organisations for volunteers? Also just local online groups, notice boards in supermarkets, libraries, shops etc?

It might be a good idea to consider neighbours if they are friendly enough. At the moment me and a neighbour do another neighbour’s grass verge at the front. I’m not always able to do it but it’s still enjoyable and it means it gets done. It also gives me a feeling of pride to be of help to someone else from time to time.
