Pip decision

Hi,

how long on average does it take to receive an outcome from a pip assessment? The assessor told me 8 weeks and they will speak to doctor and rheumatologist before a decision is made is this normal? I thought they checked with them beforehand.

Up to 12 weeks after the report is returned for a decision. They very rarely contact anyone for any evidence so please don’t expect them to do that.
