I’m really struggling using my power wheelchair. I’ve recently been struggling a lot with my mobility it’s all happening so fast that I feel overwhelmed. I use other aids but it seems to be getting harder to use things like my walking stick and walker for long periods of time. It tends to take me such a long time to do just a 5 min walk… so the power chair helps in that case. I don’t have many friends and I am just trying to figure it all out on my own. Sometimes I feel sad when I see other people out able to use their chairs and I just can’t seem to figure it out … I just wondered if there was any advice? I wish there was a way to just learn it.

    I would suggest contacting wheelchair services see if they have any recommendations unless any of the community had any other suggestions

    I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with the powerchair, I understand it can be quite a huge change and getting used to it will take time. I'm hoping some of our lovely community will be able to offer some pointers for you soon.
