PiP Help
For Descriptor- Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. If that is the case for 99% of the time but sometimes I have no option but to attend hospital appointments maybe two or three per year with another person that makes me feel safe helps me with where to go etc or a shop very close by once a month with my child with me because of severe anxiety agoraphobia fatigue would that be the best option for my PIP form? Thankyou.

Yes. It's a misleading descriptor. It actually means that for more than 50% of the time, you can't go out. So someone in your situation easily fits into that descriptor.

Thankyou for your reply. I get extremely worried and confused by it because I would be scared to go to my hospital appointments even more thinking how I might have put the wrong thing down on my form. Even going to occasional appointments is such a draining ordeal.

Hi @AmeTrem15 and welcome to the community. I completely understand your worry about what to put down. Make sure you are clear about how your condition affects you in your daily life and give examples. We're always here if you need some support 😊
