PIP assessor made a huge error with the write up

Hi, my pip phone assesment was 9 days ago, i requested a report of what they had put so i got about 20 pages worth

Now, when i go to each section, most of it is what i said (constant panic attacks/ needing assistance to cook/ etc etc)....... she even ticked the boxes, to show i had issues with it...

HOWEVER. and this is what terrifies me

on page 1 theres a section called

``list of all evidence considered in formulating advice``

which is like an overview summary

And in it theres a ton of wrong information stating im on venlafaxine
(wrong im on escacitolopram)

stating doesnt need accompanying anywhere

no issues cooking and eating

--------- I dont understand this is total oppisite of what the lady has (correctly) written in the report for each section, and even ticked, and completly the oppisite of what i said.

Is it possible she has the write up mixed up with another person? i never ever mentioned that medication either, they arent words i said.

Yes when decision makers open up the report and go through each section where she clearly lists the difficulties, then they will see that. But it terrifies me that the overview on the first page actualy is completly wrong, im also worried that if they base everything off the section called list of all evidence considered in formulating advice, ill get literaly 0 and then need to wait 6 months to go through court.

Its a saturday so what should i do? pip arent open

Im assuming it hasnt been passed to a decision maker just a week on, but i desperatly need the errors corrected

I just dont know how she can write each section clearly with the issues i have, and even tick the boxes to show difficulties.. but on the very first page in the summary write no panic attacks no assistance needed etc.....

I am attaching a photo (with all dates and personal info crossed out.. one shows the summary i mentioned..

and the other shows how it contradicts with what she wrote in each section….

im worried if they base it off the overview summary which is completly incorrect, i will fail everything

the fourth picture is the summary on the first page

but it completly contradicts with what she wrote on the write up for each section, even the medication listed is wrong

oh and even showering she wrote wrong

im just worried if this has been passed to a decision maker already, they might base it off her (clearly wrong and not mine).. summary on the first page, rather than each section where it correctly says the true situation and what i told her

Hi @humanityisdead. I'd recommend calling them first thing tomorrow to explain your concerns. I never asked for a copy of my phone assessment as similarly to @Dendoo I couldn't bear to see what they'd written. You've definitely done the right thing by reading yours, I'm just sorry they've made so many mistakes. Things don't usually move very quickly when it comes to PIP so hopefully a Case Manager hasn't even seen your file yet.

Will you let us know how you get on?

The assessor hasn't made a mistake. This is what they get paid for. To get points down as much as possible. Then they get their bonus. (my niece was a pip assessor)

PIP assessors do not get bonus's when people are refused. 🙄

it’s disgusting ! My cousins wife was sharing the ‘ job’ to her colleagues on Facebook I couldn’t believe how they went on ! The list of ‘ benefits ‘ and ‘ perks’ to go with it! I actually said to her on her fb how can you do that and sleep at night ( was actually when all horror stories were fresh in news , diabetic man no food no electric found dead in his flat) how can you play judge and risk an outcome like that poor man because of your choice ! I know why. Cos she’s proper money orientated breathes sleeps and eats it! I’ve never spoke to her since that day! I’ve got a conscience I could NOT do that for money !

I couldn’t read ‘ my report’ if I got one … apart from the fact it would certainly wound me and probally haunt me for life , I’ve an inbuilt honesty lion in me that would want to fight to put injustice right even though it would make me ill with anxiety . I hate hearing/seeing people/animals been done wrong too . At one time I thought majority of people were like this … hmmm

Ps about the cousins money worshipping wife , I don’t think she done it long at all if she did go through with the job she got . Don’t get me wrong I know it’s got to be done the job but do it for the right reasons if you do it ! Smh

Having gone through this myself, I can say that there can be an issue sometimes with assessors making assumptions. If you receive a decision that does not reflect what you believe you should be entitled to you can create a Mandatory Reconsideration that reflects and addresses the areas where you did not score as you expected. It's good to use real life examples of when your conditions have affected you too if possible.

You can read more about appealing here, though remember you cannot submit an MR until after you've received your decision.

I couldn't read mine either and I haven't been able to read the package from the tribunal either. I know I will cancel the whole thing if I do because I 'll be back to drowning despair over it all. I just have to hope that when a court sees me hobble in and get overcome and unable to speak they will realise that the rubbish about me being fine simply isn't true. Assuming I can get myself to go through with it if course, which isn't very likely but I am holding up the fact that I haven't given up and cancelled it yet as a win. I just gave up the previous times they rejected me and felt even worse about myself because of it and ended up living in a garden shed for 4 years with no help and came very close to ending it all.

And they talk about reforming the system to make it harder!! They are already out to make liars of us all and reduce our self esteem to nothing.
