Hey @Afagh and welcome to the community.
That doesn't sound easy at all, I'm sorry for the additional stress. Had patient transport given you a valid reason as to why they couldn't take you? I'd suggest speaking to the lovely folk at PALs about this, they may be able to advise, plus you can put in an official complaint.
Would a taxi be a viable option for the home journey? It's worth checking Uber as they are rolling out disability friendly cars in many areas now.0 -
Hi Albus
They say they don't have capacity. They have been very uncooperative lately. Once the same person refused me twice. When i talked to manager she said it wasn't the same person.
I can probably be taken in but need to lie down coming home.
In fact it was the Ambulance transport which caused me the spine fractures.

Have you tried contacting the clinic, seeing if they could book transport on your behalf, or talk to them?
Ultimately though if they don't have capacity then there is little transport can do.

Hi kimmy87
Thanks, yes clinic tried yesterday and was negative. Before i could book up to 48 hours.
My gut feeling is that because I have blue badge though i don't drive they have been acting this way. Though I have explain the reson it made no difference.

Hi Kimmy87
Thanks. It use be 48 before to book . I have called 9 days before. At the same time where I am there several other companies who operate. I can probably make there some one to take me but it's the coming back home. I have used Taxis before though it's 14 miles return it's costing £54 because of road workds Any how i waite and see.

Have you spoken with the Patient Advice and Liaison service for the hospital at all @Afagh? It's possible they could give some support with this.

Thanks Jimm
Pals are not very good to answer their phone or emails.
This morning had a call from CEO's office of SCAS and suppose to call me back.
