Thank you. Then that amount is definitely not the Support Group.

    ESA WRAG is £90.50

    SDP £81.50

    Total ESA weekly amount = £172/week (£344/fortnight.

This would mean that at the moment for UC it will be LCW and not LCWRA.

Once a decision is made on the work capability assessment you had for ESA if it’s Support Group then that will be LCWRA for UC.

However, those commitments are wrong because you shouldn’t be expected to look for work. You maybe expected to do work related activities, which could be to attend appointments.

Once your UC is updated I would expect your commitments to change.

Hi @Saucepot, welcome to the Scope community 😊

I hope the answers have so far helped you figure out what is going on. Do keep asking questions if you aren't sure about anything or would like some advice. The benefits system can be quite complicated, so it's understandable to not be sure about what is happening.

I’m sorry it’s affected you so much. The amount of ESA you’re receiving is not Support Group amount.

If a decision had been made then you should have received a decision letter. If it was Support Group your ESA payments would have increased.

I’d advise you to ring ESA to ask if a decision has been made on your most recent work capability assessment.
