    If that's 10 weeks since the assessment then the timescale is up to 12 weeks after the report was returned so you're still within the time frame.

    First time claims can take anything up to about 6 months, sometimes longer. You will be contacted once the decision is made.

    Not sure if anyone can help but I am still waiting for mandatory consideration to be done and I no there is no chance of them over turning the original decision so I will appeal to the tribunal court but was told today but someone else who had on PIP, if you appeal, u have to pay, is this true and if so how much is it. Because I never seen anyone else mention that they had to pay for appeal. So a bit confused.

    There’s no cost to you for a benefits Tribunal.

    Poppy could I please jump in different enquiry so council sent form saying random check so long story I moved in 2001 in that time got married put his name on tenency divorced took off as got married abroad he's not English I still had his name on tenency then had to change name but deedpoll so did that with housing association now council say want to see tenency with signatures so phoned hs they said they can't find original ?? And sent one page of my name when moved in no signatures I'm so stressed what to do 23 years I lived her lost the original years ago

    Thank you Poppy, I thought so but just wanted to check. I may still be waiting for my mandatory reconsideration to come back but I been getting the tribunal appeal ready so I can send it straight in as soon as I get MR back.
