As some one who was made disabled due to a doctor "slip of the hand" I've worked all my life we know it's corrupt government that makes it hard for the normal people, untill my operation I was a fit fun loving PTSD guy PTSD was from the army.
Now I have pvpd,c.r.a.pain syndrome asthma and yep bad PTSD.
I dont know much about politics but is it not time some one other then the top two had a go at running it ? They messed up the hospitals here average waiting time in a ambulance is 10 hours that's before you get into AnE or CDU I went in on a asthma attack the waiting time was 18 hours. by the time I was seen I had managed to pull my self around only to be told I was wasting there time. There was a lady next to me who was brought in at the same time she was a waiting for help. She collapsed in her chair all I could do was hold her hand and try to get staffs attention. The way people are treated now Sucks 1/4 of us suffer a disability so why is know one in government trying to improve it .There is more and more to come from the damage COVID has done to our kids the number is set to rise.

sorry that people here are still struggling 😞 it makes me so sad to read what effect this is having on everyone.
Im just taking it day by day too at the moment - I’ve also read that there is a revolt happening in labour, I actually took politics for a little while in college (I didn’t get to finish because of my mental health) so I know a fair bit and although I’m still worried and some days are worse than others, in the back of my mind I have faith that the worst of this won’t go ahead, and even if it goes as far as legislation, we still have the House of Lords protection, the UN, the ECHR and the equality act 2010, as much as Reeves and Kendall think they’re the be all and end all, they’re just pawns in a massive system, and the mods are right, there are systems in place to protect us❤️
I’ve been in crisis so many times over this and I’m sick of these brainless politicians having such a horrible affect on my life so I’m trying to stay strong until at least the budget.
Sending love to anyone struggling and try not to let the b***ards win ❤️3 -
Once more those of us with MH problems are being treated as one size fits all. So let's rip any little bit of financial help away regardless of how unwell we feel.
I'd never downplay MH conditions or physical ones as nobody understands what the sufferer faces daily.
I can only speak for myself here when I say I've at least 9 conditions, and MH problems are in the mix over 40 years. Including Panic disorder. Do these idiots not realise we go to bed with our conditions and rise with them,we have numerous sleepless nights and they add to our fear and suffering by shoving multiple changes down our throats.
I know nothings set in stone yet but the intents there and so for us is the 24-7 worry.
I love horror movies ,dosen't mean I and others deserve to live in one daily.

Yes 100%❤️
Sunak was trying to get benefit reforms through before the election and the lords blocked it, I believe the UN investigation is still ongoing too into the treatment of benefit claimants by the DWP so hope is not lost.
I just wish the media/the government leaking to them would just stop until we get definite answers because it causes so much fear, not only for myself but clearly there’s hundreds if not thousands of people on here too😞0 -
Oh 100 percent they give us sips of posion to keep us down news flash universal this bla blah it's hard not to see and watch whilst thier labelling us when they are the biggest lying corrupt threat to society put the blame on jog blogs who suffers day in day out put blame on refugees anyone who has to rely on this system ! The word is shameful

I think it’s so wrong how MPs can claim heating allowance for their second homes, when their already on 100k++ a year and god knows how much more cause they all seem to do bits on the side too. And they vote for a pay rise for themselves every year it really is disgraceful

When my daughter was on Esa ,she has autism , I.was with her when she was on the phone to someone from the dwp , and they asked her will she get better from autism. Unbelievable This is what we are up against

That’s awful, they’re dealing with disabilities and health conditions there should be at least a basic understanding of how conditions work.

But there is a revolt behind the scenes of labour and I read people are not happy you imagine it'd not just us it's majority of uk they are targeting everyone watch this space

I really hope I'm wrong, but it seems to me like they're screwing with people, giving the appearance of being willing to listen, but all along they've had their minds made up from the beginning and are planning to announce some very harsh measures at the budget.
Like I've said before, I find Liz Kendall very offputting, she seems incredibly cold, and judging by what she's said she hasn't taken anything on-board from disability charities.
But they're already on pretty thin ice, and any measures announced at the budget which makes the lives of our most vulnerable even harder will land them in even deeper ****.
I'll eat crow if I'm wrong, but I really don't hold out much hope for the budget. And if i am right, it is incredible cruelty and shows that Labour will be just as bad as the Tories.

Its extremely worrying to think what Labour might have in store for us but until they announce their plans its all speculation and a lot of fear mongering by certain sections of the press.
