Hello everyone!

I have Bile Acid Malabsorption, diagnosed in 2018 after gallbladder removal in 2010. I have only just realised that BAM is something that comes under the SCOPE umbrella. I have had a brief look at posts from other people affected by this, and I am hoping for some support.

Hey @cosmic69, welcome to the Scope community 😊 We are a pan-disability charity so all disabilities are under our 'umbrella', no matter how much of an effect they have on your day to day life.

I have Crohn's disease, while not the same as BAM I imagine we've had some similar-ish symptoms. How are you doing today though?

Was there anything you were specifically looking for advice or support around or just in general?

I had my vaccinations for Covid and Flu recently, and I've never had such bad flare-ups. Really painful and, shall we say, "enthusiastic"!

Just about getting back to my "normal" today. Hoping to maybe be actually able to leave the house soon.

Just looking for general support at the moment. I don't have problems with benefits because I am retired.
