UC review - older bank statements?
Sorry if this is similar to other threads, I've been asked to submit documents for a UC review today which is no problem, they want 4 months bank statements which I'm happy to send, one of the months assessment dates my total capital is £600 over the 6k limit however I know the £1550 COL payments can be deducted from this amount which I plan to explain in my journal so technically my maximum amount of capital over these 4 months is £5700, do you think they will still want to request my last 3 years bank statements?

Even though I can't help you with the benefit side of things. Although what I can do is welcome you to our community.
I would suggest to have a look at the coffee lounge or have fun in the games room.

The CoL payments are disregarded indefinitely providing your total capital didn't drop. below the amount of CoL payments you received, which is £1,550. Don't forget also that your benefits payments are not treated as capital until the end of the following assessment period after you received them. (if you have any money left)
They don't usually request anymore than 4 months.

Hi @worrieduc, looks like you've already got some good advice from Poppy but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the community.
Hope the rest of your review goes through okay. Please feel free to ask if you have any more questions 😊
