Pip and old style benefits
hello everyone
Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice please. As I looked on the gov website and it says you can get a disability premium if you get PIP and severe disability if you get the daily living. My son is 16 and been awarded the mobility but no daily living (we will appeal this of course) but wondering if we will now lose the disability premium too?
Thank you

Those disability premiums apply to those claiming the old legacy benefits such as Income Related ESA/JSA and Income Support. As he will not be claiming any of those because he's only 16 then none of them apply anyway.
Please see my advice in your other thread about your Tax credits claim.

Aww you're welcome. Yes, it takes a little while to get used to it.
