Hi @Sandy_123 sorry I’m just getting the hang of how this works
Thank you Sandy I’m just looking for a lil help and advice I’m having a nasty time with uni cred lot at minute since I was forced for health reasons to quit my taxi job in June of this year prior to me quitting I’d been forced to cut my hours down from 70+ prior to covid to 10+ after covid lockdowns and taking a nasty reaction to second vaccine destroyed my health I’m now in to my 3rd appeal for limited working capabilities which my doctor is backing me 100% but I had an assessment over the phone and was deemed fit to work absolute joke although I still have sick notes in I’m getting pestered every couple of weeks with video calls it really is annoying and I’ve asked my works coach why I’m being treated like a criminal I’m 57 yrs old now but when I was 19 yrs old I got run over by a car breaking both legs very badly shattering ankle and wrist badly I recovered and lived a good life until covid lockdowns where my legs ceased up and I’ve been in excruciating pain ever since I’m riddled with Osteoarthritis and have just discovered it’s now in my right side of neck shoulder arm and pins and needles and numbness in my hand but yet by uni cred I’m told I am fit for work

Hi @markweston881 Welcome to the Community from me too. I am unable to answer your question, but someone with more benefits knowledge than me I am sure will be able to help you.
I am sorry you have been having such a difficult time.
Take care.

Unfortunately they still see you fit for work even tho assessments are ongoing. I wish you well in your recent try. If you make a post in the benefits section, you'll find it under categories, then more people will see it who might be able to offer more advise .
You will get the hang of the forum

Hi Mark,
Have you seen the LCWRA descriptors? You only need to fit one of these descriptors to be classed as LCWRA.
It's difficult for us to know which of those you fit from just one post, but hopefully you can find the right one to focus on when appealing your WCA decision, if that's what you are intending to do now.
Who goes into the Limited Capability for Work-Related Activity (LCWRA) group and how?

Hi OverlyAnxious thank you for your reply I’ll click on the link for (LCWRA)

Hey @markweston881, welcome to the scope community! Hopefully we can help you with your WCA issues. I'm glad your doctor is fully supporting you, unfortunately medical evidence is not always enough.
As well as what you've already been linked Scope has an advice section on the Work Capability Assessment here: Work Capability Assessment for ESA or Universal Credit | Disability charity Scope UK

Hey @markweston881, I understand being unsure about discussing things openly online. If you like I can change our username to be something more anonymous? It's something we prefer our members have.
I have had to remove the personal information from your comment sorry, it is one of our rules to not share such personal information for the protection of our members.

You say you're on your 3rd appeal, are you referring to the MR or Tribunal? Have you ever took it all the way to a Tribunal?
