An old autumn 🍁 poem

The air bringing coldness to my face,
I lift my scalf up and quicken my pace.
Crunching, crackling, under my feet,
I dread what is lurking beneath the leaf.
Slippy, sliding and watching my tred,
For I would try to avoid a bumped head.
The wind is high and blowing a gale,
Catching my breath as I try to inhale.
I squint my eyes as leaves hurl towards me,
forced by nature to depart the tree.
Orange,brown, yellow, green and red,
Are the colours that have been shred.
Fetching out the brightness all around,
Laying like a blanket on the ground.
The noises behind me make me fear,
Rustling, whispering, shuffling I hear.
I stop and listen quickly turn around,
For I have no fret just Autumn sound.
