I muddled my Ministers in a thread I can't find.. Not Louise Haigh (apologies to Louise Haigh)
Alison McGovern is the new DWP Minister of State who I had in mind when I said she was a terrible liar - as in she doesn't do it well as evidenced in Question Time and interviews I've watched.
This is good news for us because she may trip up one day when trying to justify DWP policies 😉 in the interests of balance, I must wish her all the best in her parliamentary career.
(McGovern supported Owen Smith in the unsuccessful attempt to replace Jeremy Corbyn in the 2016 Labour Party (UK) leadership election - wikipedia)
(married to a former senior civil servant at DWP 🙄)
