Hi all I have my adhd assessment 2morrow finally been waiting 2 years I currently have bpd and depression and anxiety do I have to tell uc and pip the outcome of my assessment 2morrow currently get high daily living and on lwrca

    No, you do not need to report the changes if diagnosed with ADHD. For UC you already have the highest award, which is LCWRA. For PIP it's not about a diagnosis.

    Ok well she said I may have adhd but iv gotta have nother assessment so have to wait now

    Iv got to have second assessment it's alot harder to get d for adult for adhd she said

    Hi all so had second assessment she said she can't be sure I have adhd how ever if I have I have Inattentive adhd they want to try me on medication does anybody hear take adhd medication has that worked for u

    Hey @ella1992 I'm glad the second assessment happened so quickly!
    I know many people who take medication for their ADHD, but it will vary from person to person and which meds you're given as to how well they work. But it's certainly worth a go.

    Hi,
    I was diagnosed with having both parts of ADHD, It, like other things is a long trial and error process.
    Everyone's neuro-diverse conditions affect different aspects more severely than others, and for this everyone is different. It may be good to keep a short diary of things you are noticing changes with, depending on what medication they start you off with it can be a bit of a whirlwind, so having something you can refer back to when having reviews can help.

    I actually highly recommend this. Once I knew I had ADHD through diagnosis I actually spotted a lot more things I did, or ways I did things, that weren't 'typical'. It really helped
