Hi. I was hoping someone could give me some advice regarding my PIP forms I have been sent to fill in. I’ve have been receiving PIP since January 2023. My ex father in law filled the forms in for me as my husband had just left me and I had no clue, he has filled these forms in a lot as he’s never worked. I did ask him for a photocopy but he refused. I have received my new forms to fill in and I’ve no clue and I’m scared out of my wits. Not really slept since Friday. I’m not clever enough to fill/write out in a clever way to help me keep my PIP. I keep reading how the government want people off benefits and I don’t really know what to do. Would citizens advice be willing to help or am I not allowed to. Thanks for any help.

Hi there, that's awful your ex FIL won't give you previous copies.

If you contact Citizens Advice or similar service, they may be able to help/assist with filling forms for you. I know some local authorities/councils have people to help with these also.

Hi, yes after 22 years of being together it’s a bit hurtful. Thank you, I will look into Citizens Advice. Thank you.
