I am seriously suffering from a breakdown and my uc claim started in January until last week where I was awarded lcw, briefly mention I was made to claim again with less money, anyway my doctors notes all are in order yet because one was handed in later than 7 days but had an acceptable e, causes as I had moved and no chance of seeing my journal as I'm a phone claim. They now say that I'm not entitled back pay, they have now started to hang up on me

Some can't even here me and now nobody is speaking to me any advice

If the decision was LCW you will not be entitled to extra money each month. Extra money is only paid if the decision was Limited Capability for work Related Activity. (LCWRA)

Sorry to hear this is becoming so stressful for you. As Poppy said, if found LCW, then no additional money is awarded, that's only if found LCWRA.

Sorry it was lwcra element but I'm stressed as it was ten months and I kept all doctors notes all from start to finish I handed one in late but I was ill and they struggled to get into my phone claim, but they accepted it no problem. They even awarded me my first month 7days later with my uc

Yes, they usually accept the fit note if it was late but don't usually accept it when it comes to the waiting period for the extra money.

You can contact the helpline and tell them the reason why you were late providing that fit note and ask if a decision maker could consider that late fit note. If it wasn't backdated to the date the previous one expired then you may have to get a fit note for that gap.

It will be down to a decision maker to make the final decision on that.
