No idea as I am income based now.

Petty sure it is as I was on contribution based ESA, for years then they change the rules so you could only be on contribution based for 24 months max, then it goes to income based, contribution based you can claim no matter how much money you have in the bank

Of course only if you have paid enough national insurance

No time limit if youre in the support group. 1 year if not i believe.

the farmers have had it rather easy since the war not a great deal of moaning getting away with putting 4 poles in the corner of a field one day then the following year there is a big shed there no planning all the subsidies about time they were hit a bit

Let's not start spreading unsubstantiated theories please @Catherine21 There's no evidence at all that BIll Gates is up to anything nefarious.

It would help if they weren't pushing to build on farm land. We have a couple of theorised development plans in our area which are supposedly on farm land which is not only grade 1 but also still in private hands, yet afaik they haven't removed these areas from their development plan…the infrastructure here is on its last legs and those fields are our flood plains, so it's all a bit of a mess.
I think it would be eyeopening for the people in the DWP to read through comments like the ones here, on how many of us had assessors or decision makers who didn't really attend to what was said to them or what evidence was provided, but just got details wrong.
I definitely still have trauma from that year of switching from DLA (which felt safe and helped me so much) to PIP (which feels like an ongoing war). I don't have a mental health diagnosis/disability, but that year, I was offered antidepressant medication and mental health support, because of the trauma caused by the DWP and their constant misrepresentation of my disability.
And yet, I'm one of the working disabled people, which is apparently what they want from us. Do I feel less targeted? Not in the least :/
My heart goes out for all the people also dealing with the ESA uncertainty. If they only understood how much suffering the not knowing is causing people as much as the changes :/2 -
I can totally identify with this post. I think the trauma never leaves . I can't even print my complete hatred for a particular party and the diabolical treatment under their department.
I dont even like this Country anymore everything about it irks me now my eyes have been opened to how we were treated and I do some work around my disabilities and still felt targeted.
The treatment wasn't any more favourable nor my contributions to the system most my life.
Personally I never had any issues with paying into system I'm a massive supporter of welfare and nhs.
It was only being on recieving end a realization dawned on me how complete vicious you get treatedand I'll never forgive Papers Tories, or the people's prejudice. It's a very nasty mean place
I wish I was European somewhere else. 💕
