    The whole phrasing needs changing top to bottom and the whole wording in the system.

    Benefits -

    what a stupid word whoever originally started that. This word wrongly suggests there's is a "benefit" to being disabled like gaining something, having an easy ride, this plays into the hands of people like that woman.

    Welfare -

    What claimants are put through is hardly worthy of the word welfare, because their welfare is disregarded.

    economically inactive -

    Bloody beyond ridiculous twaddle, inactive is a dead car battery or dead squirrel on a road not claimants, and Unless I'm mistaken spending money anywhere is being economically ACTIVE.

    Customers - Err? ok then, well the customers always right,try listening to them.

    I'm not sure what you mean when you say "the people Starmer works for" Catherine as that is an incredibly vague statement?

    I do agree @Nightcity that the words, and wording, used in this discussion can itself influence thinking. I've also always wondered why the pension is treated so differently to the rest as well, if PIP and UC are both "benefits" then surely the pension is too? But I've rarely ever heard it called that.

    A lot of the wording is to try and take the empathy or humanity out of it I think.

    I wrote in a complaint to Ofcom about this . It's not easy finding the online form but I am fed up of all the toxic media remarks.

    I've not had a reply but the more complaints the better.

    I read their terms and it looks like Talk TV has breached it.

    Me too, the day after it was broadcast and I 've heard nothing back except the acknowledgement email. I don't know how long these things usually take.

    Yes I'm still waiting to see if the company can be fined that own Talk TV because it's only an issue for them if it hits their pockets.

    Well when you know you know I can't pretend starmer has our nest intreast he works for davous he was asked the question davois or goverment he said davois oh I cant spell it waited for election with the hope labour would be better we was left out manifesto made excuses for them saying its because they don't want tories stealing thier plans !!! Given abstracts of information left waiting whilst effecting health even more still waiting !!!
