this doesn't sound right welcome to the community it seems quite harsh as well.

Thanks glad to be part of this forum.
I've asked for reasonable adjustments and a transfer to another school, but they are refusing saying its not reasonable!

Hi @PJBALLSORTS and welcome to the community. Have they previously put in any reasonable adjustments for you or are they refusing to do anything? Are you part of a union? When I worked in schools I found my union invaluable at advocating for me and my needs. May I also ask why a transfer may be helpful? Are you in a mainstream school?
Sorry for all the questions!

Hi Rachel,
No reasonable adjustments put in place, the Union are useless, mainstream secondary Academy, transfer because break down in management relationship and recommended by my doctor and OH.

Thanks for answering all my questions. Have you tried to contact multiple people within your union? Just wondering if your designated rep isn't very helpful. They should definitely have put in some reasonable adjustments for you. Did they explain why they wouldn't?
There's some information here about asking for reasonable adjustments and what to do if your employer refuses. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it seems very unfair.

Hi PJBALLSORTS,
I was in the same position as you, my employer paid me off due to being off work so much with my mental and physical health.
In a way I was glad I was paid off because there was things happening in the work that I wasn't happy with and managers done nothing to help.

They have made me a settlement offer, but only a standard one with no compensation payment offered!
