Can anyone shed any light on where I apply for phone meetings instead of face to face JC meetings-is this something I need to do on my journal ?

I suppose the best way to do with it would be message your work coach on your journal, or ask at your next face to face appointment.

Yes you can request this via your Journal 🙂

Hey @MAURICE82, as others have said the best way to do this is to make a request for it on your journal to your work coach. If you have any issues with this do come back and let us know.

Hello @MAURICE82. Under the 'Home' tab on your Universal Credit (UC) account, there should be an option for 'accessibility needs'. Under this it should have a list of different needs which you can make UC aware of and notes on how best to inform them of any needs that are not listed.

Gonna claim early next month as I've got until the 8th January to do so -slowly picking up what needs to be done and how to go about it -until I claim and peruse my journal its definitely helped all the tips I've been given-so much thanks for that -even though I'm awful at tech I'm sure I'll pick up the workings of my journal eventually-I have 4 things to sort-My migration from support group -my disability premium-an APA-and a request for telephone meetings -let's hope I get them all in the right place

As you have until 8th January to apply then I'd advise you to wait until the new year. Applying at the start of next month is very close to Christmas and the new year. Once you submit your claim any Income Related ESA will continue for 2 weeks and then stop. You will then need to wait 3 weeks without any money.

Although you can ask for an advance payment, this does need to be repaid back and your future UC payments will be reduced.
