The 13 weeks apply to ESA and not for UC. For UC it's 3 full assessment periods starting from when you provided your first fit note. The extra money is then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month. Assuming this is your first work capability assessment.
Your waiting period will be Jan/Feb, Feb/March, March/April.. LCWRA starts from 13th April to 12th May and first payment will be 19th May. Money owed is paid as a separate payment and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.
My advice assumes you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim and there were no gaps in your fit notes up until a decision was made.

Hi @poppy123456 thank you for your response. Your correct when you say I'm not claiming with a partner and there were no gaps in fit notes provided. The whole process has just taken a long time is all however it was confirmed within my assessment that the claim is from January so with respect with your message it would be 13th April the LCWRA would of started am I correct In that assumption? I assume this month's entitlement will be included this month however if not due to time frames of being accepted and payment being soon I assume this would also be included in the backpay? Do we recieve a separate letter for this or? How do DWP advice us of this. Thank you for all ur help

Yes the LCWRA element is from January but then you have the waiting period before the extra money is paid. The waiting period is as I advised, based on the information you have given.
UC is paid 1 month in arrears so payments start from the 4th month with first payment being the end of that month.
Let me explain further..
5th Jan first fit note reported, this was in the middle of assessment period 13th Dec to 12th January, which doesn't count because you provided that fit note in the middle of the month, it has to be 3 full assessment periods.
Therefore your waiting period will be..
13th Jan to 12th Feb … 1 month
13th feb to 12th March.. 2 months.
13th March to 12 April.. 3 months..
LCWRA starts from assessment period 13th April to 12th May and first payment is 19th May.
The extra money should be included in your next statement. The money that's owed to you from May, will not be paid in with this months statement. It will be paid as a separate payment and can take a few weeks to pay it.
