Asking for friend
Can I ask after assessment an Dwp have recieved the report an you recieve a letter stating that all information is recieved to make a decision an do not contact us
how long does a decision take
is it taking 51 weeks after a report is recieve back to Dwp for review decision
also anyone been awarded after review Assasemnt is done an they are placed in higher groups ( did they get backdated )
also another question if reviews sent out in March reports ready in September an just say decion make makes decision March 2025 are you backdated from Assasemnt date or from the day decions made?
An if they said 2 year review in report September 2024 an make decision 2025 March just example, when will the decision maker award the award for how many years

Up to 12 weeks for a decision after the report is returned. There's no timescales from when that letter or text is received.
Yes, review decisions are currently taking about a year from when you return the form.
If any new award is higher than current award they don't always backdate the claim to an earlier date. A decision maker has discretion to award from an earlier time. Some do and others don't.
I recently had my review decision that took almost a year after receiving the forms. I did report my condition had got worse when I filled in the forms. I had a paper based assessment with just a quick 10 minute phone call from a decision maker. They asked me when my conditions got worse and I answered them. The decision was made the following day and my award was increased to Enhanced for both parts, paid from October 2023. I was paid the difference between my old award and new award and the money went into my back 4 working days later.
If the report recommends a review in 2 years then the decision maker usually adds 1 year to that, if there's an award. How long it will be before the next review will depend on what date the award is from.
Has the person added up any recommended points in the report?

51 weeks after the report was returned? Who on earth told them that? It's up to 12 weeks.
