There are only two powers :
The sword and the spirit.
im lightning a candle on my spiritual journey for all animals i loved so much and they died, and loved ones who passed away, for all the missed opportunities , for peace in the world and in my heart, for all the homeless people and those whom i helped as best i could and was able to do it , for love , for all sick and suffering people physically and mentally, and for all my other intentions that i have not mentioned here . 🙏0 -
i perceive that Values are the deepest needs of my heart, there are no better or worse values, and i didn’t arrange them in therms of importance.
accepting myself as i am , there is still long way ahead of me , a constant striving for perfection in the past , huge competition at work and at school from the youngest years.intuition
leadership, people who worked for my company they were saying that i was the best person for whom they had the opportunity and chance to work in the UK, and they stayed with me for years, even they were having the opportunity to earn more in other companies.
respect
responsibility
to be a minimalist
adventure and freedom in relation for discovering a new places, visiting new places in the past and preferences for staying in large spaces in nature, and freedom of speech and the right to be able to and allowed to say what i think.
honesty
trust
Love
gratitude
generosity
loyalty
faithfulness
and others.

We live in a very hard world. Perhaps it has always been so. My wife is a Filipina, I've seen the economic divisions in the Philippines and they are stark and quite shocking. Whilst the very wealthy live in penthouses and beautiful apartment blocks, the very poorest live in slums and have to work just to live each day. There are homeless children and the poor just exist. It was like that in the UK 100 years ago. Sadly we seem to going back to this. The people in power can now do whatever they want and no political party or anyone speaks out against the growing tide of greed, immorality, brutality and dreadful economic and political divisions that are being sown in this society again. Nor are they speaking up for the millions falling into despair, poverty and the greed of electric and gas companies and the rise of everything in general, which though I think is partially beyond the control of business and government, most I believe is done purposefully to create more wealth for the wealthy at the expense of the rest of us. Now we see political chancers and grifters like Reform led by grifters and charlatans like Farage making things even worse. There may be no answer to this but I think we need to have respect for others in spite of the growing evil, apathy and division everywhere.

one of my highest values in my life almost on par with Love is freedom and respecting a person and their rights to speak, my close friend who was a gay man and was a lovely sensitive person he left Poland for the UK because he believed that his rights would be respected here in the UK and for other reasons

i dont describe everything on the forum and how recently i was devastated to hear from my family member whether i was going to be sick so long , and i worked here from the beginning of my arrival in the UK and my work was one of my highest values in my life my work was more important for me than my own health and there were many reviews available on google about my work and about me

being authentic, sometimes we pay a high price for being ourselves, and being authentic in the face of social pressure to strive for perfection which is also created by social media ( i don’t use social media anymore) , and also to have the courage to be yourself, authenticity gives us freedom. i knew someone, he had a wonderful personality, he worked as a coach, came back to Poland and this man helped me many times when i experienced huge stress at work, he always was telling me to be myself, and he gave me his time and talked to me when i fell madly in love with someone i admired very much.

The world and people are often contradictory I find. Everyone says 'be authentic, be yourself, be real and be honest' and yet when you are trying to be yourself and be honest, you often fly in the face of all kinds of people who follow the herd and condemn you for not doing the same or even crazier pretend they are being themselves when in fact they're not! These contradictions are seen in every human sphere from informal get togethers to corporations and worldy politics and everything in between. I find the difference between what people are and what they say they are can be two very different things!

Hi @Timbo_Guitar , Thank you for writing here and for sharing your thoughts, i think that childhood have a big impact on adult life, being authentic is connected to self esteem, people sometimes wear masks as a protection against hurt, being authentic in the context of looking inside ourselves who we really are and recognising the truth beliefs acquired in childhood also play a big role , being authentic and not betraying yourself, i have used dictionary because English is my second language , please take care, good night to you.
Kind regards.1 -
once i had a very important meeting about work , one of the first sentence (and we saw each other for the first time then) which this man said to me was “you are not smiling’ the next sentence “you are very serious “, another example “where with such little hands to work “, another sentence said by a male boss to his employees about me “she is like a general “ and i was also a boss, but a woman , and i was very polite and was firm at work and was giving another chance for people to improve their work and when they had difficult life situation when a girl was beaten by her boyfriend she had no money or home where to go and other situations.

Being real is the only thing I want to be before other humans.

Hi @Timbo_Guitar , Thank you very much for writing here, and for sharing your thoughts, really, recently and before as well i was feeling that im drowning with condition of my mental health and my health, being authentic involves being vulnerable and showing vulnerability when it’s uncomfortable and having the courage to be yourself, the world and society sometimes try to make us like others, the concept of conformism is also important here , being authentic is necessary to be ready to look bad sometimes in our own eyes and in the eyes of the other people, we have a cupcake Labrador here in the UK , i was trained to be like a cupcake Labrador when i wanted to be like a black cat , i did hear often from my mother “don’t disturb us we are talking now “ or that i was sexually unfulfilled , but it wasn’t true because i had sex life with my boyfriend who later became my husband.
Please take care of yourself.1 -
