Uc claim review
Hi there everyone,
Been a while since I have been on
Just to say I have got my UC review coming up soon and trying my best not to get stress but as we all know it's not easy, plus I have more stress at the moment due to moving house and solicitors and surveyors so my head is all over the place at moment so I would be greatful If someone could please give me some advice on the review please or if anyone has had their review recently how did it go and please let me know how many bank statements do you need to send them and can you use your blue badge as photo ID or does it have to be passport ??
Thank you in advance 🙏🥰

They should give you a list of suitable id, I'm not sure a Blue Badge is on there.
UC are doing millions of these checks, and lots of people on here (including myself) have been through one.
The process is submit the information they ask for (in my case this was a selfie with photo id & four months of bank statements for all accounts)
Then you will have a telephone interview.
You'll be asked a series of scripted questions about other potential sources of money.
Then questions about some of your banking transactions, which might not appear to make any sense.
I myself (as capital was over £6k on paper) was then asked to submit individual bank statement pages showing my CoL payments.
Then I had a journal message saying my review was complete and my payments were correct.

Thank you for your advice and response,
They haven't told me that yet the email just said that within seven days they will send me more details of what I need to do, that's why I fought I would just ask how everyone else did and for any advice, as I panic a lot and have bad anxiety.... My savings are under 3K that's including everything .. and I don't get any other income just UC an lcwra and pip .. also my recent bank statement won't come until a few days after the phone call so we'll they be okay with that with the other ones ?
Thankyou in advance

After the phone call, a To-Do will appear on your Journal, for you to provide what they ask for.
You do get some time to provide the information (I'm afraid I can't recall exactly how much), but am confident the latest statement will have arrived with time to spare.
You can discuss time frames with them on the call anyway 🙂

For the info 🙏

Hi,
The blue badge wasn't on the list that I was given for ID. It's mainly passport or driving licence if you have either of those.

Thankyou I have my passport even though I don't look the same lol as it's been nearly 8 years and I look different 70% less hair puffy face and older..
I just hope my new account statements come in time you know what I mean the usual monthly statements we all get from our bank allso , also are instant saver accounts with the same bank can we just show them one monthly statement what does that have to be four months as it's a savers account ?
Thanks in advance

They will still want to see 4 months of statements for a savings account.
Even if the savings account hasn't changed, they can't prove that without seeing it on every statement.
If you have online banking, you should be able to download the statements from there, then upload them to your UC journal. That's easier than sending paper copies.

OverlyAnxious,
Thank you
I will go to the bank tomorrow and get extra copies as I am not doing online banking anymore due to personal issues 🙏
