Assessment referred back to uc
I rang the assessment team regarding update onto my wife’s UC 50 form which was sent few months ago they told me that it has been cancelled and referred back to uc to decision maker and she want need assessment .
Does this mean it will be a paper decision

I don't really know about this as not on UC yet but if your wife set up an account with UC perhaps she could check the journal there?
Best wishes

Sounds like they are asking for more info and your wife may get an assessment...I have heard this could be done via telephone...if so, I think you are allowed to make a recording of the conversation now to check the final report is accurate. But pls check legal info eg on www.benefitsandwork.co.uk
.

I had to complete a UC 50 which was a paper copy and I had to several weeks before my I received the paper decision . I am not sure if this answers your question but that is the process that I underwent

It does sound likely to be a paper based assessment.

Hi @rigilsalim786, if they've said she won't need an assessment and it's with the decision maker then that sounds very much like a paper-based assessment. Do let us know how you get on and what result you get!
