Hi @maryendowarriorqueen, I noticed this was on your profile page as a question but unfortunately most people don't see that. So I posted it here for you!
I do not have any experience with hormone based migraines but I used to have many issues with bloating and my Crohns disease. It took some work in my diet to figure out what was causing it, I went on an elimination FODMAP diet. Where you remove foods high in FODMAPs and slowly add them back in. If anything starts the bloating again you take it back out and keep adding back in other foods.
For me the biggest problems were lactose and too much gluten. I can have a few slices of white bread a day, but I can't have too much bread. I also stopped consuming anything with lactose in it. Luckily cheese aged more than 6 months has very little lactose in it so I still get to enjoy mature cheese π
It can be different foods for everyone though, and it's quite a tough diet to go through.

Hi @maryendowarriorqueen I get migraines and bloating when I have periods, is yours related to your periods?
I have the implant in to stop my periods as I have a bit of an hard time with them, they make my mental health worse as well.
IF it is related to that, I would suggest talking to your GP about it, in fact I'd suggest you talking to your GP anyway if you haven't already.

@maryendowarriorqueen Sorry to read this :(
I have no idea what to suggest because I've had daily chronic headaches since 1995, tried various things but nothing has helped, tried again recently to ask for help but now I'm having to wait for the practice manager to sort a reasonable adjustment request out, the practice I'm with aren't much good, been trying to deal with a complaint and other concerns with them for getting on for 3 years. If your GP is ok and actually listens and helps when you go to them, I would definitely give them ago.
I've had similar experiences to you including abuse.
