Hi, my name is Kathleen13! Am I owed 30 years of DLA back pay?
Hi.my name is libda [surname removed by moderator] I was awarded DLA in 1991 and only received the high rate of motorbility. They never awarded me the living compant. I have multiple scenarios and am terminal ill.i changed over in the last 3 years to PIP and they pay me everything.Does DLA owe me back pay over the 30 years I was with them for the living part .please can you tell me.they used to pay my money into my pist office card which got discontinued as they changed they payment system .so my DLA motorbility got paid into my nationwide account instead.when I didn't use it to pay for a car.

The answer is no I'm afraid.
If you were unhappy with the award in 1991 you could have appealed. I don't see after 30+ years you have any reasonable grounds for an appeal.
The PIP assessment was to all intents and purposes a new assessment of your claim.
So the result applies only to that assessment and not the one in 1991.
