UC commitments
Hi group members,
I want to ask a question
Between 2022 to 2023 i was working full time my Employer reported my earnings correctly, during this period i registered a company just as a backup in case of losing my job, so i will have a second option, but i never did any trading or business and have not earned any money from the company. But i didn’t inform UC about registration of the company, as i thought i only have to inform them if i earn something, as my earnings from employment were declared every month. Can this cause any problem like Sanctions or closure of UC. Company was closed in 2023 anyway.
Regards

It will not cause a sanction and is unlikely to cause even a suspension of your UC claim. They may ask for evidence of whether you traded and your income and earnings during that period.
