Will
hi everyone here hope your all wrapped up warm as the weather has definitely turned much colder. Now I am getting on in life it’s time to make a will at any age regardless you should have one
I have a very young grandson who is just 4 he was a massive surprise as all my other grandchildren are secondary school and older.
He’s got autism I don’t know what the scale they would put him on he’s extremely intelligent and is now starting to say a few words I want to make sure he is looked after financially when I die of course all the other grandchildren will be looked too.
He’s is incredibly special and I love him to death he will struggle in life much more than the others I’ve been reading and reading the best way to leave money to him like a trust? everything seems so complicated all I want is to leave him something that he won’t be stuffed by the government I do hope that he will work one day I don’t have a crystal ball
hope someone on here might have some knowledge of what’s best to do, thanks for reading

Hi @freshwaterlilly what a kind and thoughtful gesture. I'm so sorry you've not had a response to this yet.
I've had a look at similar scenarios, and the consensus does seem to be to seek some professional legal guidance on this, because the system is quite complex they'll support with guiding and drafting the most suitable documentation.
Best wishes,
