Pip Assessment
Hi all
I had my pip Assessment and I ring for my Assessment report and some things are not right what I said...shall I ring the Assessment up and tell them what's wrong in the report are shall I ring pip…are will it be better to wait till I get my discuion from pip
Any advise will be much appreciated

Hi @kass, it might be best to wait for a decision before you do anything more. Sometimes decision makers will go against the report, and you may find that you get the award you're hoping for anyway.
But if you're not happy with the result, you can challenge it by asking for a mandatory reconsideration. There's a bit of information about challenging benefits decision on the Scope website if you'd like to have a read:

Hopefully you'll get the result you're looking for but if you are disappointed by the decision it's not the end. Lots of members have been through appeals so you won't be alone if you have any questions about it 😊

Thank you for getting back to me just want to know i have a stoma due to crohn's disease and I have hernias forgot to say on the Assessment shall I ring pip for this are still wait for decision

Did you mention your stoma and hernias when you first filled in your application for PIP?
It's still probably best to wait and see what the decision is and then go from there 😊

No as I didn't no about i had hernias till last year….but with everything going on with Assessment for pip it just slipped my mined....there a few things the assasser put down was not right.…Hypertension hyperlipidamemia witch mean blood pressure and high cholesterol she put I don't have medication for....But I do take medication for blood pressureand high cholesterol....i not see a doctor for 5 years…is not true I can walk 200 meter that not what I told her..…there a few more thing wrong
