Hi my husband and myself are claiming UC I work 27 hours a week my husband doesn't work due to health he's got pip high rates on both in looking after him but on UC we get £0 is it my earnings can I get careers element on universal credit we went to the jobcentre the other day for some kind of review she said we would get some money this month as we were under the threshold but £0 we got he's currently waiting for lcwra to get in touch so we can get that don't know what to do next please advise me

Yes you can get carers element, but as all of UC is means tested you may still not be eligible.
If he is found to have LCWRA then this will entitle you to a work allowance on the claim
Currently for every £1 you earn, UC is reduced by 55p.
With a work allowance the first £404 or £673 is ignored.

So if I earn £673 as I'm going to reduce my hours again anyway which will give me that amount will we get the £617 we are entitled to on UC

If he gets LCWRA, the work allowance of £673 applies if you don't have Housing Element on your claim.
If you do get HE, then the amount is £404.
Your earnings after one of these amounts would still reduce UC by 55p per £1 earned.

As I have a disability as well and it's affecting me doing my job so I'm going to be doing 2 days a week which will give me just over £600
