PIP assessment report

Could I please ask for some further advice ? I received my PIP assesors report and whilst I don’t agree with most of it , the last page states ‘based on the claimants likely future circumstances, it would be appropriate to review the claim in one year and six months ‘. To me, that sounds as if I’ve been recommended for PIP abut most of the comments the assessor has made contradicts pretty much everything I said . I put in a claim for PTSD

Many thanks

Hi @Loumc48 - the assessor is just making a recommendation as to when you should be reviewed. The assessor doesn't write down just what you've said word for word, but forms their own opinion (yes, they do sometimes get things wrong too).

Again the report is just a recommendation, but you'll see a tick or a mark against what they think is appropriate for each activity. If you check it with the following link you can see the points they've recommended, then add them up separately for the daily living & mobility components. You need 8 or more points for a standard award, & 12 or more for the enhanced rate for each component,

    Thank you @chiarieds .

Looks like I’ve been given 2 for daily and 10 for mobility which is very disheartening. After 14 weeks , I don’t have the energy to go for an MR.

Ah well, at least I have some idea of what to expect
