PIP assessor decision question
Hello
I'm asking this on behalf of my husband.
He applied for PIP about a month back and had his assessment last week. He called up today to request a copy of his assessment, they told him that they can't give him it yet as they've not made a decision yet but the assessor recommended he be placed on standard and enhanced, so my (or rather his) question is: is the assessors recommendation a big deciding factor in the final decision? If anyone can give us some answers we'd be very grateful. Thank you.

Note: they are sending his assessment report, I misheard him (slowly going deaf so this happens a lot lol)

Hi there @PeachyAna90 they will usually take notice of the assessors report and their recommendation, yes, but not always.
